SOUTH CHARLESTON, Wv. – The Brescia University softball team reached the conference tournament for the first time in nine years. The #5 seeded Bearcats faced off against the #4 seed IU Southeast where they dropped the opening game, 13-7. The Bearcats were sent to the loser’s bracket in the double elimination format of the postseason and were to play #2 Shawnee State. BU fell to the Bears ending their tournament run, 9-4.
OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University softball team earned the #5 seed in the River States Conference Tournament. The Bearcats finished the regular season 22-26 overall and 17-19 in RSC play.
HENDERSON, Ky. – The Brescia University softball team won the series at home against IU Columbus following the close matchup. The Bearcats improved their record to 17-23 overall and 12-16 in RSC play.
TERRE HAUTE, In. – As the conference race heats up, the Bearcats are currently sitting in fifth place with an 8-10 RSC record. The split against Midway and sweep of St. Mary of the Woods, kept the Bearcats above Kentucky Christian who are at 8-12 in RSC play.
HENDERSON, Ky. – The Brescia University softball team split with Rio Grande in their opening day of conference play. The matchup included a 16-inning win and a loss against the RedStorm. The Bearcats extended their record to 4-8 overall and 1-1 in RSC play.

MIDWAY, Ky. – The Brescia University softball team split a pair of games with River States Conference opponent, Midway, this past Saturday. The Eagles took game one with a score of 12-4 as the Bearcats bounced back and took game two 4-3. BU extended their overall record to 6-16 and RSC record to 5-11.

BECKLEY, Wv. – The Brescia University softball team swept the Golden Bears of WVU Tech on the road this past Saturday with final scores of 9-2 and 10-5. The Bearcats extended their overall record to 3-5 and 2-2 in River States Conference play.
NEW ALBANY, In. – The Brescia University softball team dropped their conference openers on the road at IU Southeast. The Bearcats move to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in River States Conference play.
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The 2024 All-River States Conference Softball Teams & Awards were announced Thursday afternoon during an awards ceremony at Little Creek Park between games on the opening day of the RSC Softball Championship. The 12 RSC softball head coaches voted on the all-conference awards.
OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Brescia University softball team split with Oakland City this past Tuesday evening as they dropped game one, 9-1, but bounced back to win game two in walk-off fashion, 2-1. The Bearcats extended their record to 8-23 on the year and 7-17 in RSC play.

The offensive production in game one was the difference as the Lady Bearcats run-ruled the Golden Bears, 12-0, in five innings. Game two proved more difficult for the Bearcats as WVU-Tech woke up the bats to split the series with a 7-3 win of their own. BU extends their overall record to 2-8 and RSC record to 1-1.
OWENSBORO, KY – The Brescia University softball team met up with their cross-town rival, DII Kentucky Wesleyan College. A matchup that has been imbedded in history the past 20 years; the Lady Bearcats are starting to shrink the Panther’s 17-13 win/lose record against the DII powerhouse. Last night, the Panthers came to our house where BU got the split in the doubleheader. The Bearcats couldn’t get the bats going in the first game as the Panthers struck first with a 6-1 win. Brescia bounced back in game two grabbing a run-rule victory over KWC to win game two, 10-2 in five innings.
