Softball Breaks Postseason Drought
OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University softball team earned the #5 seed in the River States Conference Tournament. The Bearcats finished the regular season 22-26 overall and 17-19 in RSC play.
For the first time since the 2016-17 season, the Lady Bearcats head to the RSC Tournament in South Charleston, WV. BU finishes as the #5 seed and will face #4 IU Southeast in the opening matchup on Thursday, April 30. Earlier in the season, the Bearcats prevailed over the Grenadiers in two of the four games. The winner of this game will move on to face #1 Oakland City while the loser will face the low man of the #2 Shawnee State and #3 Rio Grande/#6 IU Columbus.
