Brescia Softball Adds 3 to 2017 Recruiting Class
Brescia softball signs another outstanding student/athlete. Cassidy Moss from Crittenden County High School will play for The Lady Bearcats in 2017-18 season. Moss will also play basketball. "Cassie will be a pitcher as well as an infielder. On the mound, Cassie brings speed, accuracy, and most important composure. She is a very mature and smart pitcher as well as an infielder. The Lady Bearcats are extremely excited to add Cassie to our already strong 2017-18 recruiting class. (Coach Smith)
Along with Cassie from Crittenden County High School, Brescia is also happy to announce the signing of Courtney Beverly. "Courtney is a very good catcher with an even stronger bat. Courtney will add to the already strength of our batting line-up. We will also look for her to split catching duties." (Coach Smith)
Caoch Smith ended her week with the signing of Sydney Cox from Boonville High School in Boonville, Indiana. "Cox is a tremendously talented 3rd baseman that also swings a great bat. We are looking for Sydney to step in and replace our All-Conference 3rd baseman, Rachel Tanner, who will graduate after this season. It is extremely hard to replace a player of Tanner's quality but I really think we have done that by signing Courtney. We are really looking forward to Sydney becoming a member of our team, with the other recruits we have signed, She will add a lot of depth to the roster. I look for her to do great things for Brescia Softball." (Coach Smith)
