CHILLICOTHE, Oh. – The Brescia University baseball team opened up the first game of the tournament against the #2 seed, Oakland City. The Bearcats fell, 3-2, despite the close matchup. In the double elimination format, BU heads to the loser’s bracket where they faced IU Kokomo and defeated the Cougars, 12-9, in comeback fashion.
OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team earned the #5 seed in the River States Conference Tournament. The Bearcats finished the regular season 22-19 overall and 14-13 in RSC play.

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team defeated Division II opponent, Kentucky State, in a run rule victory. The 12-2 win improved the Bearcat’s record to 7-8 on the year.
MIDWAY, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team opened up their conference campaign against Midway University in a three-game series this past weekend. The Bearcats came out victorious in one of the three against the Eagles. They extend their overall record to 6-8 and 1-2 in River States Conference play.
PINEVILLE, La. – The Brescia University baseball team traveled down to south to compete in the warmer weather playing three separate teams in LSU Alexandria, #7 Loyola, and Louisiana Christian. The Bearcats came out 0-3 despite remaining competitive in all three games.
OWENSBORO, Ky. – PerfectGame.org has released their top incoming freshman list for Division II/III and NAIA for the upcoming season. Brescia Baseball freshman, Caysen Mitchell, made the list on the NAIA side at #12.

The Bearcats took game one of the day in dramatic fashion in a 9-8 walk-off win. In the series finale, the bats exploded as BU took the 10-7 win, extending their overall record to 12-7.

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team split with Shawnee State on day two of their conference opener. After taking the 16-5 loss against the Bears Saturday evening, the Bearcats bounced back on Sunday with a 10-0 win in game one and then a close 8-4 loss to end the series. The pitching duo of Dylan Warda and Jonny Foti in game two was the first no hitter dealt within the BU baseball program (since digital stats were recorded in the 2004 season). The Bearcats extended their overall record to 7-3 and River States Conference record to 1-2.
