Women's Soccer Erupts for Four Goals Against Freed-Hardeman
HENDERSON, Tn. – The Brescia University women’s soccer team hit the road for their third match of the year as they took on Freed-Hardeman. The Bearcats came home victorious against the Lions with a final score of 4-1.

HENDERSON, Tn. – The Brescia University women's soccer team hit the road for their third match of the year as they took on Freed-Hardeman. The Bearcats came home victorious against the Lions with a final score of 4-1.
It wasn't long before the Bearcats got on the board first as Lillie Carman found the back of the net three minutes into the match. The Lions sank the equalizer in the 42nd minute to knot the score at one-goal apiece. A foul by FHU led to a Brescia penalty kick as Ana Gonzalez netted the shot with ease.
With the one-goal advantage, BU upped the ante scoring their third goal of the day two minutes into the second half. The fourth and final goal came in the 73rd minute off the foot of Allana Colen Porto to end the game.
Lillian Carman tallied her first goal and assists on the year while Allana Colen Porto also earned her first goal and assist of the year. Lillian Garcia found the back of the net for her first goal as Stefanie Schmeisser earned her first assist of the season.
The Bearcats will be back on the road against #19 Cumberland (TN) on Wednesday, Sep. 3, at 1pm.
