Lady Cats Dominate Mighty Oaks on the Road
OAKLAND CITY, In. – The Brescia University women’s basketball team maintained their #1 spot in the RSC West Division following their win over Oakland City. The 68-45 win improved the Lady Cats record to 14-5 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

The Lady Cat offense exploded in the opening frame, putting up 24 points over the Mighty Oaks. Kassady London caught fire from beyond the arc as she sank three threes on her first five attempts. Jenna Krampe added six points and four rebounds in route to the 18-point advantage. The Bearcats continued to rack up the points in the second quarter. Graci Risley came off the bench ready to pull the trigger on her shot as she made three more threes for BU. Krampe continued to be the Brescia offense as she dominated in the paint. The Bearcats forced 11 turnovers in the 23-point win.
Only two Bearcats reached double-digits in the victory. Jenna Krampe led all scorers with 20 points on 76% shooting while Graci Risley added 15 with five threes.
The Lady Cats will take on the Red Wolves of IU East at home this coming Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1pm.
