Becoming the team with the most wins in a single season, the 2025 Lady Bearcats break an 18-year-old record. They now hold the title as they surpassed the 2007 team who had nine total wins in the season.
Kaja Zupanic netted the Bearcats first and only goal of the match in the 13th minute on the pass from Lillie Carman. The Bears had plenty of opportunities to hit an equalizer, but goalie Laura Thompson prevented any ball from getting past her.
The Bearcats are currently sitting in fifth place in RSC play with three games remaining in the regular season.
BU will host the top team in conference as they take on Oakland City at home on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 4pm.
