Bio
Coach "C" is in his 37th year of coaching and his fifth year with Brescia University, where he is in his second season as the head coach for the women's basketball team. Last year, he led the Lady Bearcats to their first winning season since 2015-16. The team finished with a 20-8 record, became the River States Conference (RSC) West Division Champions with an 11-5 conference record, and advanced to the RSC Conference Semifinals. Their tournament victory over Midway, an 86-73 win, was the program's first non-COVID tournament win since the 2017-18 season.
Coach Chaykowsky, a graduate of the University of Tampa, holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. While playing college basketball there, he also served as an assistant coach. He also earned a Master's degree in Mathematics Education from Nova Southeastern University. His family owns CF Real Estate, LLC in Henderson, Kentucky.
He has been married to Trecy Chaykowsky for 33 years. They have two children, a son named Zack (30) and a daughter named Cayce (25). They also have two grandchildren, McKenna (3) and Cole (1), the children of Zack and his wife, Madi.
