2024-25 Women's Basketball Season Preview

Returning Players: 

• Genesis Ghide-Bryan (G) - The floor general of the team, Genesis returns with a wealth of experience. Her ability to distribute the ball and create opportunities for her teammates will be crucial as she leads the offense.

• Elise Williams (G) - A proven defender, Elise is a key defensive weapon. Her leadership on and off the court will inspire her teammates. 

• Tia McGee (F) - Known for her versatility, Tia can score, rebound, and defend effectively. Her defensive skills will be vital in shutting down opposing forwards. 

• Jaylee Covington (F) - A strong presence in the paint, Jaylee brings toughness and rebounding ability. Her mid-range shooting adds another dimension to her game, making her a double threat. 

New Transfers: 

• Cassidy Morris (F) - A transfer from a competitive program at Rend Lake College, Cassidy brings experience and scoring ability. Her ability to drive to the basket and create her own shot in the paint will enhance the Bearcats' offensive depth. 

• Jordan Joe (F) - Another transfer from Pima Community College, Jordan is a tenacious rebounder and three-point threat. Her presence on the floor adds strength to the Bearcats' frontcourt, and her experienced three-point shooting makes her even more dangerous on offense. 

• Marie-Louise de Jong (F) - A versatile forward who can play multiple positions, Marie's athleticism and defensive skills will provide the Bearcats with an edge on both ends of the court. She's expected to be a key contributor from day one. 

• Graci Risley (G) - The Division II transfer has a knack for shooting the ball from anywhere on the floor. She can make shots in bunches and has been a pleasant surprise this fall. 

Incoming Freshmen: 

• Jenna Krampe (FR, G) - A talented freshman, Jenna brings speed and an aggressive playing style. Her ability to penetrate defenses will complement her athleticism, and her energy will make her an exciting addition to the team. 

• Brooklyn Stewart (FR, F) - An explosive scorer, Brooklyn's versatility is a great addition to the team. She's expected to make an immediate impact on both ends of the court. 

• Caroline Lucas (FR, G) - A strong, physical player and dynamic athlete, Caroline will add depth to the backcourt. Her rebounding and scoring inside and out will be invaluable as the team looks to dominate both the paint and perimeter. 

• Amelia Mackey (FR, G) - A highly touted recruit, Amelia is known for her three-point shooting and defensive abilities. Her transition play and ability to run the floor will add depth to the guard position. 

• Landree Moons (FR, F) - A highly recruited player from Central Kentucky, Landree has the ability to score at all three levels and has a knack for rebounding the basketball as well. She will have a significant impact on this team when all is said and done. 

• Marta Fernandez Campoy (FR, G) - A player with a European flair, she brings a high basketball IQ and excellent passing abilities to the team. Marta is from Spain and has a promising future ahead. 

• Hailee Johnson (FR, G) - A local talent, she brings competitive fire and a shooting threat whenever she steps on the floor. Hailee has a bright future ahead of her and will be an immediate impact to the dynamic of the team.
