Women's XC 2020 Season Preview
The women's cross country team will start its season on September 11th at the IWU Twilight Classic.
"I'm looking forward to seeing how the women's team performs this season," said Head Coach Luke Stoffel. "We added four strong student-athletes to the roster and have five returning sophomores, so the team should have plenty of competition for the top five spots."
The Lady Bearcats were voted 11th in the River States Conference Coaches' Preseason Poll, but Stoffel believes that the team will finish the season ranked higher than that. "We placed higher than 11th at the RSC Championship last season, so I have no reason to think the team would finish lower than that this season. We will surprise a few teams at the championship."
Important dates to know:
- The Bearcats' season opener is on Sept. 11th at Indiana Wesleyan University.
- The RSC preview is on Sept. 19th at Indiana University East.
- Brescia's home meet, the Fast Cats Classic, has been moved from October 10th to October 9th in order to limit the amount of people at Yellow Creek Park at one time. The high school meet will be on the 10th.
- The River States Conference Championship will take place on November 7th at Indiana University East.
- The NAIA National Championship has been moved to April 9th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The first race of the season will start on September 11th at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana at 5:45 p.m. ET.
