Rhodes Hired To Lead Bearcats Volleyball Program
Owensboro, KY--- Brianna Rhodes has been named the Bearcats' new Head Volleyball Coach, Director of Athletics Brian Skortz announced last week.
Rhodes most recently served as the assistant volleyball coach of the Bearcats program during the 2020-2021 season, before taking over as the interim head coach.
"I am so blessed to have the opportunity to coach here at Brescia. I look forward to building on the success that the volleyball team has had in the past, and to passing my knowledge and enthusiasm of the game onto my players. Rhodes is a 2010 graduate of Apollo High School. Before taking the assistant position at Brescia University, she served as the junior varsity head coach from 20016-2018 at Apollo High School. She spent four years as a head coach from 2012-2016 at Burns Middle School. Rhodes has been an active member within the Owensboro community, having served in many capacities within the city.
