Lady Bearcats Compete at Anderson University
The Lady Bearcats traveled to Anderson, Indiana to compete in the Fred Wilt Memorial Invitational. The meet was an unscored contest.
The Lady Bearcats had two competitors in the meet, Kassi Gilbert and Makenzie Jackson. Gilbert competed in the long jump and the 60-meter dash and had a pair of 15th place finishes. Her long jump was 12' 8.5" and 60-meter dash was 9.22. Jackson ran a season best in the mile with a time of 6:57.75 and finished 16th.
"The girls competed well over the weekend; I was pleased with how their indoor season finished up. We will be working on several things during our transition to outdoor season over the next four weeks," said Coach Stoffel.
The Lady Bearcats open their outdoor season at Transylvania University on March 25th.
