Lady Bearcats Place Sixth at Lindsey Wilson Invitational

The Brescia women's golf team placed sixth in the seven team field at the Lindsey Wilson Invitational at the Pines at Lindsey Wilson.

Brooklyn Spicer (SO, Goodletsville, Tenn.) led the Lady Bearcats with scores of 81/85. Laurel Hotchkiss (FR, Fishers, Ind.) finished close to Spicer, with a 87/82. Meredith Mayes (SO, Central City, Ky.) and Allie Holeman (SR, Bowling Green, Ky.) finished third and fourth on the team, with scores of 83/90 and 88/89, respectively. Makenzie Moore (JR, Hartford, Ky.) rounded out the Lady Bearcats with scores of 94/93.

"After day one the ladies had four consecutive team scores in the 330's. This is a great trend in the right direction for the Lady Bearcats since it is anywhere from 35-50 shots better than last season. With more consistent play team wide and a little more experience, the team is progressing nicely," said Head Coach Jason Cox.

The Lady Bearcats will be back in action in the River States Conference Preview on September 30 and October 1 at the Belterra Golf Course in Florence, Indiana.
