Women's Golf Fall Season Preview

The Brescia women's golf team tees off its season on August 30 in the Red Wolves Classic.

"[Our goal is to] Become a more consistent team in our preparation for events. That consistency in practice will translate to lower scores on the course," said Head Coach Jason Cox.

The Bearcats were voted to finish fifth in the River States Conference Preseason Poll, a ranking that Cox agrees with.

"Fifth is where we should be at the present. We are unproven at this point. However, we have a lot of things beginning to go our way. Team chemistry is beginning to help us reach up the ladder in the polls and hopefully lead to our first team win," explained Cox.

Important dates to know:

• The Bearcats start its season on August 30 and 31, competing in the Red Wolves Classic.
• Brescia competes in the River States Conference Preview Tournament on September 30 and October 1 at Belterra Golf Course.
• The Bearcats compete in the first home match of the season against in-city rival Kentucky Wesleyan College on October 17 at The Pearl Club at the Summit.
