Women's Golf Compete at Asbury Invitational
Brescia Women's Golf Team teed it up this week at Connemara for the Asbury Invitational. Blustery conditions played a huge factor in the team score along with individual play. On the ladies side, they were led by Brooklyn Spicer with rounds of 91/87 with Meredith Mayes just two shots behind 92/88. Right behind them was Jaime Jolley and Allie Holeman with scores of 95/92 and 95/93. Makenzie Moore finished with a 96/100 for the two days. Alexa Chandler played as an individual and scored 99/105 for the Lady Bearcats.
"This event was a wake up call for both the teams", Coach Cox says. "Both teams are hitting some really good shots but are having a tough time stringing holes together to have the consistency that is needed to advance up the leaderboards. Both teams need more consistency around and on the greens as the middle of the season is upon us".
The Lady Bearcats will travel to Alice Lloyd's event in Richmond KY.
