Men Finish 7th at RSC Cross Country Championship
Saturday November 4th, the Men's Cross Country team competed at the River States Conference Championship, which was held at Asbury University. The men were seeded 10th going into the meet and finished 7th overall. Junior Kyle Robinson led the team with a top 20 finish, coming in 19th overall, with a time of 28:58. On a very tough and hilly course Freshman De'Ontae Washington ran a fifty-five second PR, finishing in 30:25. Devin Roche and Chase McCauley finished just a couple places apart coming in at 32:06 and 32:26. Preston Glazebrook (37:45) and Brent Crawford (38:24) rounded out the scoring positions for the Bearcats.
Robinson received honors as a Champion of Character recipient. Three Bearcats, Crawford, McCauley, and Robinson each earned RSC Scholar-Athlete.
When Coach Stoffel was asked to comment on the season he responded with, "I am very pleased at how much time all the guys and girls dropped this year and I am excited about what is in store for the future of this program."
