Men's Volleyball Set to Make First Postseason Tournament Appearance in Program History

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The 2024 Mid-South Conference Men's Volleyball Tournament bracket is set as the Bearcats look to make their first appearance in program history.
The three-day tournament begins on Thursday with two matches at Bowling Green High School at 3:30 pm CT and 6:30 pm CT. Friday's semifinals take place at 3:30 pm CT and 6:30 pm CT with Saturday's championship match scheduled for 3:30 pm CT.
Georgetown (Ky.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) finished the regular season as Co-Champions each finishing with 9-1 records. Georgetown earned the top seed due to having the second conference tiebreaker. The two teams split the regular season series with Georgetown having won five sets in the two matchups while Campbellsville only won three.
The tournament gets underway Thursday at 3:30 pm CT with fourth-seeded Rio Grande (Ohio) (12-18, 3-7 MSC) taking on fifth-seeded Brescia (6-18, 3-7).
Rio Grande earned the No. 4 seed over Brescia due to having the third conference tiebreaker. The two teams split the regular season series with each team winning 3-0. Rio Grande totaled 144 points in the six sets while Brescia had 143 points.
No. 3 seed Cumberland (Tenn.) (9-16, 6-4 MSC) will face No. 6 seed Midway (Ky.) (2-21, 0-10 MSC) at 6:30 pm CT.
Georgetown will face the Rio Grande/Brescia winner in the first semifinal at 3:30 pm on Friday while Campbellsville will take on the Cumberland/Midway winner at 6:30 pm CT.
The championship match is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at 3:30 pm CT at Bowling Green High School.
