Bearcats Compete at Center Twilight
Friday April 13th the Men's Track and Field team competed at the Centre College Twilight Invitational, finishing 12th place.
4x100m relay: Jaleel Parris led of the relay followed by Brandon Stacker, Cameron Davis, and Landon Holt, in that order. The team ran a time of 44.59 and placed 7th overall.
100m Jaleel Parris finished 15th of 28 with a time of 11.85 sec. Jaleel was followed by Tyler Harris who finished 27th and ran 12.66 sec.
200m Jaleel Parris was the top Bearcat in the 200m sprint. Jaleel ran a 24.20s and was followed by Cameron Davis at 24.79s and Devin Watts at 24.98s.
400m Devin Watts was the only 400m runner for the Bearcats. He finished 13th in a time of 54.82s.
800m Devin Roche was the top runner finishing 19th of 32 with a time of 2:07.86. Devin barely beat out Landon Holt with a time of 2:07.94. This was Landon's first collegiate 800m he finished 19th of 32.
5000m Kyle Robinson ran a PR of 16:30.01 and finished 7th of 23 individuals.
Colton Metcalf competed in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump. In Long Jump he went 5.43m finishing 15th and in Triple Jump he placed 6 overall with a distance of 11.89.
Zac Johnson was again the only men's throw on the day improving his PR to 29.42m in Discus. He placed 23rd in both Discus and Shot Put. In Shot Put Zac threw for 9.21m.
The Bearcats will compete in their final regular season invitational this weekend at the Rose-Hulman Twilight, before heading to Pittsburgh for the River States Conference Championship April 27th.
