Chuck Brown Hired as Head Tennis Coach

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University Athletic Department welcomes newly hired head tennis coach, Chuck Brown. Coach Brown is currently recruiting for the 2025-26 season for the men's and women's tennis programs.

Coach Brown brings an array of tennis experience and skills to the BU tennis program. After his playing career, Brown kicked off his coaching career at the University of Kentucky where he resided as a part of the staff for four seasons. He then obtained the head coaching position at the neighboring school in Lexington, Transylvania University, where he coached for 16 years. He led the Pioneers to nine consecutive Heartland Conference Championships on both the men's and women's side along with achieving Conference Coach of the Year in each of those years. Coach Brown has also been involved with recreation centers and country clubs as their tennis directors. He moved to Owensboro in 2018 to become a Head Tennis Pro at Centre Court.
