Inside the Bearcats Tennis Huddle
Brescia University men's tennis 2019-2020 season review:
The 2019-2020 school year was full of ups and downs for the Brescia men's tennis team.
The players worked hard to prepare themselves for the season, but the season ended prematurely.
With the advent of the COVID-19 global pandemic and the Spring athletics season being cancelled, we take a look back at the season with a peek to the future.
The men team began with a couple key wins on the road and at home against Oakland City University, and at home against Alma College. The Bearcats finished 3-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
In Coach Will Riley's debut game, the Bearcats won against Oakland City in a competitive match and started the Spring off with another win and a couple of losses to highly-rated teams in the NAIA.
"The young Bearcats fought hard all year and laid the platform for the future. They return the majority of the team plus a couple of new additions on the men's side," said Riley.
The team is looking for a complete season this Spring 2021 and to build a great team morale and to be a positive fixture in the community as well.
