COLUMBUS, In. – The Brescia University men's soccer team fell to the Crimson Pride of IU Columbus on the road, 2-1. The Bearcats extend their record to 2-6-2 overall and 1-1 in RSC play.
In this defensive battle, both teams were kept scoreless throughout the first 45 minutes. Despite all nine of the Bearcats shots being on frame, IUC goalie got a hand on every one of them as he prevented the Bearcats from scoring. The first goal of the match came off the foot of a Columbus player in the 68th minute, as they took the lead. BU struggled to shoot the ball in the second half as the Crimson Pride earned their first win.
The Bearcats will return home to take on (RV) Rio Grande this coming Saturday, Oct. 4, at 3:30pm at Kamuf Park.
