Men's Soccer Finds Stride in 6-0 Win Over UHSP
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Brescia University men’s soccer found their stride following their win over the UHSP Eutectics on Wednesday. The Bearcats came out victorious with a 6-0 road win as they move to 1-4 on the season.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Brescia University men's soccer found their stride following their win over the UHSP Eutectics on Wednesday. The Bearcats came out victorious with a 6-0 road win as they move to 1-4 on the season.
After maintaining possession majority of the first half, the Bearcats finally got one of their 13 shots to hit the back of the net. Javi Fernandez Albandrea tallied his first goal of the year on a pass from Xavi Del Monte. BU wasted no time coming out of the break as Ikar Pertusa Riquelme added the second goal for BU in the 47th minute on the assists from Eli Mong'are. Brescia's leading goal scorer thus far in the season, Ezekiel Isom, netted the Bearcats third goal of the game 10 minutes later. BU continued to pour on the goals in the second half as another goal by Albandrea gave Brescia the 4-0 advantage. Senior, Lucas Santos, kept the momentum going with his first goal of the season on the assist from Albandrea. Cade McKinney rounded out the Bearcat scoring on the pass from Santos to seal the 6-0 win.
The Bearcats will return home against Harris-Stowe on Wednesday, Sep. 10, at 5:30pm in a double header at Kamuf.
