Men's Soccer Struggle Against The Grizzles
DALTON, Ga. – The Brescia University men’s soccer team took their second loss of the season to receiving votes, Georgia Gwinnett, 6-1. The Bearcats fall to 0-2 on the year following their trip to the Dalton Classic.

DALTON, Ga. – The Brescia University men's soccer team took their second loss of the season to receiving votes, Georgia Gwinnett, 6-1. The Bearcats fall to 0-2 on the year following their trip to the Dalton Classic.
The first goal of the match came off the foot of a Grizzly in the 12th minute of the game. BU scored the equalizer on a pass from Xavi Del Monte to Ezekiel Isom for the first goal of the season. The Grizzlies quickly gained the lead in the 24th minute as another shot hit the back of the Bearcat's net. Brescia's defense was able to hold the Grizzlies off until the horn sounded for the half.
Georgia Gwinnett came out blazing in the second half scoring four goals as the Bearcats pickup their second loss.
The Bearcats return home against Freed-Hardeman on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 3pm.
