Brescia Welcomes New Head Men's Soccer Coach

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University Athletic Department introduces new head men's soccer coach, Robert Bennett. Coach Bennett is currently recruiting for the 2025-26 season.

Coach Bennett, a University of Southern Indiana (USI) graduate, brings immense coaching and business management experience to the men's soccer program. He has been a leading not only the Indy Eleven Spirit team in Evansville but also assisted for the men's program at USI for the last 12 years. As a travel coach, Coach Bennett has worked with kids from 9-20 years of age, showing his multifaceted coaching at all age levels.

As the assistant coach at USI, Bennett managed multiple program aspects including scheduling, budgets, travel, and fundraising. He also maintained good communication with prospective athletes while specializing in both offensive and defensive tactics. He also led the Screaming Eagles to 2 NCAA tournament appearances and a regular season GLVC Championship.
