Men's Soccer Falls in Home Opener to Marian

OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Brescia University men's soccer team falls to 0-1 on the season as they picked up a loss to the visiting Marian University Knights, 1-0.
Both teams remained scoreless through the first period in the first home match of the season. It wasn't until the 51st minute of the match that Marian's, Evan Dawdy, would lob a ball over the head of goalie, Chase Garrett, to give the Knights a 1-0 advantage. The Bearcats could not convert offensively as they come away with their first loss of the season.
Chase Garrett played a full 90 minutes with eight saves as he extends his record to 0-1 on the year.
The Bearcats take on Missouri Baptist on the road on Wednesday, August 24th with a kickoff time of 4:00 pm CT.
