Cory Gardner would continue his hot streak as his jump shot would get the Bearcats rolling. The Bearcats' big three in Gardner, Taeron Hogg, and recently reinstated Camden Pfeister, would give the Trailblazers a run for their money in the first ten minutes. Louis Penn III would sub in and make two back-to-back threes to give the Bearcats a five-point lead. Two consecutive buckets by BU would cap off the first half for the Bearcats as they head to the locker rooms. Cory Gardner would lead the Bearcats in the first 20 minutes with 11 points and three rebounds as Hogg and Pfesiter combined for 15 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.
With the 36-34 lead, the Bearcats looked to extend their lead and come away 1-1 on the week. Taeron Hogg would make the first basket for the Bearcats on his three-pointer. The Trailblazers would continue to shoot the cover off the ball, matching BU on every shot. Down by four with under six minutes to play, Brescia struggled to convert on OCU miscues allowing the Trailblazers to stretch out to a nine-point lead with under a minute to go. OCU would walk away with the win, 73-68, as the Bearcats drop their last game of the trip.
