Mark Perdue Chosen as Brescia's New Director of Athletics
OWENSBORO, Ky. - Brescia University appoints Mark Perdue as new Director of Athletics.
Brescia University has chosen its new leader in the Athletic Department as Mark Perdue now holds the Athletic Director title. The Huntington, WV native graduated with his master's in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology and his bachelor's in Athletics Training/Sports Med from Marshall University. Perdue then moved on to become an Assistant Athletic Trainer at his alma mater and at Scott Orthopedics from 1989-1992.He then began his director duties at USC Upstate as the Assistant Athletic Director from 1996-2004. Perdue became the Director of Athletics at Spartanburg Methodist College, Asbury University, and finally Lincoln College before taking the job at BU. He and his wife resides in Owensboro. They have two children, Sam (24) resides in Illinois and Tess (22) a senior at Anderson University.
